The new Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro is here, but it doesn't bring many changes from its predecessor, apart from a brighter screen.
Hello WondTech friends! Today, we're diving into Xiaomi's latest wearable: the Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro, which launched globally at the end of May. Let me cut straight to the chase: if you were expecting massive changes from the previous version, you might be a little disappointed. What does this mean for you? Well, you can see this band as a direct successor to the Smart Band 9 Pro, or as its own distinct device. But when you compare it to the 9 Pro, very little has actually changed. The overall design remains largely the same, though it's a bit lighter and thinner, which is a nice touch. The battery hasn't changed either, still a 350mAh unit, meaning similar performance to what you're used to. The display is also mostly the same: a 1.74-inch 60Hz panel. But wait! There is one bright spot worth mentioning: the screen is significantly brighter. It now reaches up to 2,000 nits compared to 1,200 nits in the previous model. This means you'll be able to see content much more clearly under direct sunlight, which is a welcome improvement for sports enthusiasts and outdoor activities. Looking at it as a standalone device, the Smart Band 10 Pro costs around €75, and can go up to €100 depending on the region and additional features. So, is it an essential upgrade? Perhaps not, unless that extra screen brightness is a top priority for you. It's a solid device on its own, but not a huge leap forward from its direct predecessor.
